DISTILLATION AND AGING
Elsass Whiskey is obtained by a double distillation of a pure barley malt in accordance with the traditional method of Lehmann Distillery. Aging in barrels of white Bordeaux wines for 7 years.
Color: golden, bright, limpid and shiny, large and long legs, reflection of a great material.
Nose: powerful, expressing notes of toasted malt, slightly woody and vanilla, these notes go togetehr with fruit aromas, ripe stewed or even candied fruit (pear, mirabelle plum), and slightly caramelized notes
(milky, salted butter caramel).
Palate: powerful in attack, rich and complex, which gives way to a smooth structure.
The mouth is characterized by notes of malted barley and cereals, accompanied by pastry notes, buttered and vanilla. The structure in the middle of the mouth is round and fat.
A nice length, relatively persistent, on roundness and woody notes on the finish.
